An Illinois-based car wash franchise is expanding. Fuller’s Car Wash is adding a new location to Elgin, Illinois, a suburb outside of the Chicago area. The company already has at least 17 locations, according to its website.
The Daily Herald reports that the new location is currently under construction with plans to open by fall at the intersection of two major roads in the area. The car wash will be located near a Wal-Mart Supercenter, a Sam’s Club and a local hot dog joint.
Owner Colin Fuller told the Daily Herald he thought the location was a solid one for the area. He said he found out the site was available through the owners of the hot dog shop, Elgin Portillo’s Hot Dogs.
Fuller said the equipment at the center will be state-of-the-art to ensure vehicles get the best and most efficient car wash for the money.
Fullers has a range of car wash services at its many locations. Some are self-service bays while others offer the automatic washes and detailing at additional cost. This location, will be a pared down version charging just $3 for a wash. Customers will also be able to use vacuums on site for free with the purchase of a wash.
