Crew Carwash is celebrating a major milestone this month with the addition of its 30th location. The Indiana-based car wash chain opened the latest location in Avon, Indiana. The Flyer Group reports that the Avon location is the second in that city for the company.
The newest location cost the company $5 million to build. The facility includes self-service, dual hose vacuums, new LED lighting and new ways of delivering soap and detergent. The location also has a water reclamation system that helps to reuses some runoff right there on site. The business will operate 24 hours a day, every single day of the year.
The business has an automated lane reserved for members of the monthly unlimited plan. The separate bay allows members to get in line and skip ahead of other one-time users. The first location for the chain opened back in 1948.
“As our 30th facility in Indiana, this location marks a milestone for our organization,” Sally Grant, executive vice president of Crew Carwash, said. “We’re excited to continue to grow our footprint in Hendricks County and bring another world-class car wash experience to the Avon community.”
The company is currently hiring new employees, both full time and part time. They’re also looking to hire management positions. Crew Carwash is known for its programs that help advance young employees by preparing them for college with scholarships. The company offers tuition assistance of up to $2,500 a year paid directly to students. They also offer a student loan payback program of $100 a month.
