A beloved car wash in Myrtle Beach is expanding. Detrick’s Premier Car Wash, a family owned and operated car wash that opened in 2005, has just announced the opening of a fourth facility in Garden City, South Carolina.

Owner Darryl Detrick told Myrtle Beach Online that the location is ideal. “Being next to Murphy’s Express gas station and Walmart is exciting,” Detrick said. “I feel that our customers can do more of the things they need to do in one area. Garden City itself is expanding and I really wanted to be a part of it and add to the community.”

Construction has begun on the new location, and owner Darryl Detrick hopes the car wash will open in late September.

With other Detrick’s Premier Car Washes located in North Myrtle Beach and two in Myrtle Beach, the location will offer an option on the south end of the Grand Strand.

The new location features an all-new design, making it easier for a variety of cars and trucks to be washed. The car wash will also feature club memberships, free vacuums, Exterior Express, free window cleaners and free towels.

According to Detrick’s website, the business washes 130,000 cars a year and has won a local “best wash” award seven years.
