Just last month we told you about Washé, an upscale mobile car wash app that was recently reviewed by a lifestyles magazine in Boca Raton. The company had a slick website and got decent reviews for its ease of use and its upscale feel. Now we’re learning that Washé is planning to expand to Los Angeles, another part  of the country where glamour and convenience meet.

“We are excited to offer our technology that conveniently connects drivers with a network of licensed and insured, highly-skilled car washers to California,” said Stefan Joyal, founder of Washé, in a statement. “Car owners from Los Angeles to San Diego can utilize our easy-to-use app to drive clean without ever having to leave their homes or offices.”

Built In Los Angeles reports that the company should have a built-in audience given that Los Angeles drivers rely heavily on daily use of their vehicles while traveling across the expansive region.

The last time we wrote about Washé, we told you that customers can choose from a range of services once they’ve downloaded the app and created a profile.  Packages range from $20 to $120 and have names like silver, gold, platinum and diamond. At the cheaper end of the spectrum, the package includes an exterior hand wash for the vehicle. At the more expensive end, customers can expect a full interior clean as well complete with shampooing of carpets. They’ll also get a wax out of the deal.

Built In Los Angeles reports that once the service is completed, drivers can have a photo of their clean vehicle texted to them. Washé said it plans to expand to additional markets within the next 30 to 45  days.
