A car wash employee in Orlando, Florida, is accused of kidnapping a young woman dressed as Batman on Christmas, stealing money from her Christmas card, forcing her to drive him to buy drugs and trapping her in the car while he dozed off after getting high.
We have so many questions.
The New York Daily News, which brought this story to our attention, doesn’t say why the woman was dressed as Batman on Christmas (seems like a Halloween kinda thing). But it does say that 23-year-old Daniel Palomares left his fingerprints on the Christmas card, thereby linking himself to the crime. When he was busted for shoplifting later, his prints tested a match for the kidnapping.
The moral of this story: Don’t mess with Batman.
