A car wash with the longest wash tunnel in its new town and possibly in the entire northern half of Colorado opened this month. The Tribune reports that the Wash N Gloss car wash in Greeley is definitely the longest tunnel in the city, if not in the area at large. The owners said that’s just one of the features that sets their new business apart. At 160 feet, it’s certainly impressive.

The second is a polish tunnel that drivers looking for premium services can use to get their cars gleaming. The polish tunnel has workers apply the polish by hand before cashmere brushes work it in.

The polish tunnel was designed in Europe and is only the second of its kind in the states. The owners say the design allows for better cleaning and drying of each vehicle that passes through. The price for a wash ranges from $6 for the express service to $20 for the top-notch deal.

“We’re just a little ma-and-pa car wash,” Eric Stoffel said, “Just trying to keep Greeley clean.”

The owners decided to open the car wash when they realized the closest automated wash was in the next town over. With plans for a new subdivision across the street and rumors that an old commercial building will be refurbished, the owners said there’s a lot of room for growth in their fledgling business.
