planoFew things are more well received than a drink on the house. Perhaps that’s what the husband and wife team had in mind when they opened their own Plano, Texas car wash. According to a company press release, TradeMark Car Wash is an upscale car wash that opened with applause from the Plano Chamber of Commerce earlier this month.

We told you about the opening in brief a few weeks ago. Now we’re learning of the details behind the company’s official launch. The press release says that members of the community and local business leaders were invited to the Oct. 13 ribbon cutting. They received a tour of the facilities and enjoyed an open bar during the event. There was even live music and an artist who was commissioned to create some pieces for the interior. Now that’s upscale.

The $5-million facility boasts a modern design and decor that includes both European and American technologies. The car wash features a 135-foot car wash conveyor belt. When customers aren’t relaxing with a drink in the cocktail lounge of a waiting room, they can enjoy sodas and some snack items.

“With this location, we really took a step back and asked ourselves, ‘As a consumer, what would be the perfect carwash?’ And to us, this is it!” remarked Tom Miller, owner of TradeMark Car Wash. “Get a professional carwash and enjoy a good glass of wine while watching sports or the news on one of several HD screens.”
