Autobell Car Wash, the second-largest chain in the United States, is expanding its empire with two new locations in Georgia and Virginia. The additions bring the company’s total to 67 car wash locations across four states, including North Carolina and South Carolina.

Here are excerpts from the company’s news releases:

CHARLOTTE (February 23, 2015) — Autobell Car Wash, Inc., has opened a full-service wash at 3028 Canton Road inMarietta, GA, on the former Wash Barn site at the intersection with Chance Road. Reid Houser is the store manager. This marks the family-owned and -operated chain’s first location in Marietta and sixth in the metro Atlanta area, with other washes in Suwanee, Mableton, Snellville, Acworth, and Alpharetta.

CHARLOTTE (February 24, 2015) — Autobell Car Wash has opened a full-service wash at 13698 Warwick Boulevard in Newport News, VA, at the former Car-Robics site near the intersection with Eastwood Drive/Bland Boulevard. Darion Harrington is the store manager. This marks the family-owned and -operated chain’s second location in Newport News and ninth in the Hampton Roads area, with other washes in Hampton, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and Norfolk.

This is the company’s first expansion since last year, when Professional Carwashing & Detailing ranked Autobell the biggest car wash chain in the country behind Mister Car Wash, the Arizona-based behemoth with 134 locations. You can see the magazine’s full top-50 list here.
